This is a device that realizes vision handling using a 3D camera. A 3D camera is installed above a container filled with small parts, and it recognizes the images inside the container. The data is fed back to a robot, which performs the picking of the parts. So far, there have been examples of picking heavy cylindrical iron parts, can lids, and special-shaped iron parts close to an L shape. When picking, multiple methods can be employed, including chucking with a specially designed robot hand, magnetic chucking using magnetic force, and suction using air.
